Financial Times recognises Victrex as one of Europe's Climate Leaders 2022

Victrex recognised by FT as one of Europe's climate leaders 2022

 

  • Victrex is one of only 400 European companies selected from around 4000 companies
  • Victrex carbon net zero strategy announced 2020
  • This prestigious recognition is the latest accreditation, others include; EcoVadis Gold rating, inclusion in Apple clean energy supplier programme, long-standing recognition by FTSE Russell in their Green Revenues index

The annual FT-Statista list includes companies across Europe that have reduced their carbon intensity the most.  This assessed companies scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions intensity over a 5 year period, from 2015-2020.  Victrex, which was added to the list the for first time this year, is seeking to achieve net zero ambitions by 2030, by reducing scope 1 and 2 emissions from its own operations.  Victrex reached a key milestone earlier this year when it achieved 100 percent renewable electricity for its UK operations.
